1When placing an order is my credit card and personal information secured and protected?

Yes, all transactions are encrypted using 128 bit SSL to make sure your personal information is kept secure and protected. 
Additionally, all credit card transactions are processed through, our US financial processing partner, which utilizes the latest technologies to ensure all personal information is kept confidential.

2. Is my credit card information retained or stored?
To ensure the security of your credit information it is the policy of BackgammonHellas to NOT store any credit card information for any customer on our servers.

3. Are you a verified PayPal seller?
BackgammonHellas is a verified PayPal seller.

4. Are the items you display on your website in stock?
As a rule of thumb, we typically maintain a full inventory of the products we display on our website, making them available for immediate shipment. If for some reason an item is temporarily out of stock, it usually only takes a day or two to replenish that item from our factory facility. In either event, we will keep you informed by emailing you with a shipping date confirmation.

5. If I change my mind, can I cancel or return my order?
Yes, you may cancel your order at anytime before shipping, and we will provide you with a full refund of your purchase price. If your order has already shipped, you may return it to us once your have received it, in the original packaging and in the condition it was sent to you in. When we receive your return, we will be happy to provide you with a full refund of your purchase price for the returned merchandise, less shipping charges which are not refundable.

6. What do I do if the item I ordered arrives damaged?
Simply return the damaged item to us, and we will send you a replacement, using the same shipping option you selected in your original order, free of charge. We have been servicing customers since 1930, and through the internet since 1990. We have never had a single instance where our product arrived damaged to an Internet customer. We make every effort to ensure your purchase is packaged properly so that it arrives damage free.

7. How safe and reliable are your shipping options?

8. Will my purchase be subject to customs duties or taxes? 
Your purchase may be subject to customs duties or taxes, depending on your country of residence. We would recommend that you visit the website for your customs agency to determine whether any duties may result from your purchase. 9. Is my purchase protected by a warranty? 
Each of our backgammon sets come with a five (5) year unconditional warranty against product defects and workmanship. Your warranty period begins with the date of your purchase. If you wish to submit a warranty claim, contact us by email at, and we will verify your purchase and arrange for UPS or TNT to pick up your package. Please make sure that your backgammon board is properly and securely packaged. Once we receive it, we will either repair your board, or replace it with a new one. If your model is no longer available, we will offer you a choice to select another model of comparable style and quality. We will pay for shipping and handling charges going both ways.

10. Approximately, for shipping purposes, how much does a backgammon set weigh?
The average weight of a packed backgammon set is 3-5 Kg (6.5 - 11 pounds), depending the model you have selected.
